I wish I could do zero stars. Where do I start? I dropped of a firearm for some work on it. I was quoted 3 days. That was almost a month ago and when I call, I keep getting "I will need to call the gunsmith, can I get your name and number and I will call you back". They do not call back very often so I call to check in. Today I did just that and I was treated horribly. Then the guy on the phone said well you seem like you are getting upset. I couldn't help but think "well, yes, you have had my firearm for almost a month for a 3 day job". I explained that I was frustrated because I have had this happen again with another gunsmith so I am starting to feel this is par for the course. He took my name and number again so we will need to see if he calls me back. If you are going to quote someone a time frame, you should either make it accurate, or keep the customer in the loop of what is going on. I know they are not worried about me as I am just one customer, but I will be sure to tell those I know to find another place. I still do not have my firearm, so I might be shooting myself in the foot (no pun intended), but I also feel that others should know about this experience.
Addition: so after I told them that I just wanted my gun back. It was miraculously finished within the hour. They called me and said it was finished and I could come pick it up. Hmmm that's curious. When I went to pick it up there was more problems. Let's just say I will never be back and I will be sure to spread the word.
