Find somewhere else to go if possible. The woman that does your initial evaluation has no business doing that as a job. She talked about herself for 15mins and I barely got to speak. I spoke with another patient that also did not have a good experience with her. The staff upfront always has an attitude. I was not told that the individual I was seeing had become out of my network and I ended up paying $1000's.

I was completely appalled by their financial department. They were made completely aware I was only able to get mental health needs because of state coverage. They moved appointments a lot, and when I was told my insurance would cover my bill 100% I got multiple bills sent to me. I didn't know what to do. I can't drop 1,000 on one session because of what? As far as I was aware I didn't do anything. So I called them, and they said it was an issue with my therapist being “out of network accidentally” because they hadn't updated her ID number or something. Well, I got off that call and I am still getting billed…. I called my insurance and I went back and forth on the phone with them and Lourdes and I got nowhere. Finally, sometime later I decided to put on my big-girl pants and figure out what was going on, why was I getting billed? From all the research I have done it is illegal on their part to charge me for services when I am covered by the state. I don't even call them after this I call my insurance straight away. After getting connected through 3 people I get on the phone with a lovely lady who actually helps me. I tell her the number on the bills and she looks through my account. She can't find one of them what???? So they sent me at least 1 bill without even attempting to bill my insurance. I asked her why one of them got denied and it was because they had charged my insurance past the amount they were allowed to bill. From what I understood, they have a contract with the state so they are allowed to charge X amount but can't go above… which they did. The lady is even confused at this point so she asks for the number for the finance dept. And I give it to her. She put me on hold for about 10 min then I heard her voice again and she said “This guy is being difficult so I'm going to add you to the call so you can answer any questions.” I said okay and she added me and the representative for Lourdes was screaming at her!!! I couldn't believe it the man was straight up screaming. She keeps asking him for a supervisor and he…. Hung up. He hung up without helping AT ALL. We waited for a minute I said hello because I wasn't sure if I had gotten disconnected or what but my insurance was still on the phone. We waited a second together and she told me if he didn't come back soon we would file a formal complaint. Which we did. The moral of the story doesn't go here. And don't pay them if you're not supposed to!! Call your insurance and hopefully you will get a good representative.
