Really disappointed by my experience today. I went in about noon to see someone at the desk who initially seemed friendly. They were wearing cat ears and a tail and I wanted to compliment them.

My boyfriend has been speaking highly of this place for ages and so I was really excited to come check it out.

The good is… it was an amazing store, well stocked and smelled good. The people in the back doing projects were also friendly. The prices were more than fair and I ended up buying three very nice bracelets for me and my boyfriend.

The bad. I feel incredibly harassed. The cashier would not leave us alone and was staring the whole time. They followed us around and nearly chased us down when we picked things up to look at them. They stared the whole time. I will not be returning if this is how I’ll be treated. Beware those with alt fashion. They’ll treat you like a thief.

Amazing service from the moment we walked in the door! We are visiting our daughter from our home state of Idaho and she thought we would like the shop. She was right!

We bought a couple tarot decks, an oracle deck, some assorted small items, and I bought a lovely claymore! So much fun.

The staff was attentive and helpful without being too much, and we never felt "watched" and no one followed us around, etc., as other reviews have mentioned.

We come to visit my daughter once a year and have decided that Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie & Marketplace will be an annual stop.
