Always a pleasure to shop the garden department at Lowe's on Corporate Center Drive in Lacey. It's organized, clean and well stocked from early spring thru fall.

I was never a fan of home improvement stores but we moved here, bought a house and here I am in this store a couple it times a week. I would say this store is absolutely clean even the bathrooms are spotless and we have gone in there a lot because it seems like my youngest wants to go to bathroom the moment we step foot inside. As far as the employees I would say 80% are hard working, friendly, so helpful and the rest of them work at the customer service desk, the ones that work there will watch the cashiers with long lines and still not check you out, they are not busy just joking and laughing amongst themselves I don’t know if they are more in the supervisor position at customer service but they are so lazy every single time I’ve gone. I do know that they are not manager I’ve seen the manager in this store walking around greeting customers, helping customers a million times and he is nothing short of amazing. The older man who works in the paint department is basically a paint God that man knows his paint and without coming to my house he basically taught me how to paint my hours and chose the most beautiful colors for my home I just wish I remembered his name, then there is Ethan and I was in there trying to match bulbs with a restless six year old until he greeted me and I asked if he could help me you know he found each bulb which I know wasn’t easy because the print on bulbs were rubbed off he also taught me lights could be white or yellow in kitchen I had no idea. I was very impressed because he was so young maybe 16-18. I was so thankful for Ethan.

This has a high volume of garden supplies if we're going somewhere close to home. We've gotten seeds here, plus mulch and soil products. I hope they don't sell neonics here; if they do, I won't shop here anymore.
In my opinion, they're way too focused on growing grass lawns, but to each his own. We're trying to create a food forest in our yard. It's a lot of work tearing out all the grass in our lawn and replacing it with plants that are more functional in this time of global climate change.
