Compared to Clovis Lowes, the Fresno Lowes is the worst hardware store. The Fresno Lowes can be compared to the Fresno Home Depot.
The Fresno Lowes is at its worst in customer service especially on Saturdays, and Sundays.
Yesterday on a Saturday, one of the Fresno Lowes associates told me he had to run to work three different departments within the store because they were short staffed because 10 employees called off work.
Today, on a Sunday at 4:30 pm, I had to bring back indoor wall paint because the texture that I asked for to be mixed (I had purchased the paint a week ago on a Sunday) was not the correct texture. I should have known better because the associate who was not paying attention to his job and more so to the other coworker he was talking to did not mix in the satin texture but instead semi-gloss.
Today, I obtained my refund at customer service desk but when I went to the paint department to get the right paint texture, their was no associate in the paint corral for customer service.
A customer told me she was told by an associate that there would be no customer service for "45 minutes" in the paint department.
I am heading to the Clovis Lowes which in my experience has organized items shelved, and better customer service. I have talked to Clovis Lowes associates and they have told me that people who have shopped at the Fresno Lowes have complained to them that the Fresno Lowes sucks.
I have to continue to shop at the Fresno Lowes because it's to far the frequent trip to the Clovis Lowe's, and the Fresno Home Depot sucks in customer service, and Ace Hardware is too expensive.
I have even compared the Fresno Home Depot to the Clovis Home Depot, and the Clovis Home Depot is a little better.
What is it about Fresno employees?
UPDATE
Today on Saturday August 24, I figured that since Lowes replied to me (Read below) that they would do a better job of customer care. However, there are no shopping carts, and a customer has to hunt for a shopping cart or a flat card or something.
The isles are blocked (I had a snake my way with a large cart or go down different aisles because there was a lot of blockage.)
And most of all there was no river rock available because it was high on a shelf on a pallet as nobody is restocking.
I took photographs but either Google or Lowe's is blocking me from uploading the three shopping carts in the shopping cart corral, and the mess on the floor aisles.
