WARNING! CALLED ME A LIAR SAYING HE PUTS IT ON HIS KIDS THAT I AGREEGED TO A USED MOTOR. PAID 4700 DOLLARS WITH THE AGREEMENT BEING A REFURBISHED MOTOR ( A FULLY BORED CLEAN AND RENEWED ENGINE 4.8L V8 FORD PERFORMANCE IMPROVED MOTOR FOR MY 2000 MUSTANG GT)GOT A P.O.S.USED MOTOR THAT WAS FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS. CAN'T PASS SMOG PCM CAN'T READ SPEEDO CORRECTLY, BROKEN OFF STUDS IM THE I TAKE MAIFOLD THE LIST GOES ON. I asked him for two options for my money back or to put the motor that I asked for in the car and he refused to do either. I am now out $5,000 and a motor that can't even be smogged or even runs well enough to be called usable. Please be aware that this is not right and anyone with barely enough which is his clientele he will change his word and manipulate the situation for his benefit. I am now going to take it to the next level in order to get my Justice. Everyone Please be aware that this man and his co-owner Luis are not doing what's right let alone what's legal. I have had this motor Replaced three times before he had ever seen the vehicle and paid less money for a "brand new" refurbished motor. Jasper's engines and Transmissions was the first time I had to work done I paid $4799 for the motor and the work fully installed running and ready to eat tires. He claims that the money that I paid him was not enough yet I've had it done several times already at other mechanics in Portland Oregon and Washington including California before him. He claims that I am a liar and that he did nothing wrong I did not raise my voice I did not yell I asked for understanding and a fair agreement. He in turn hung up on me. Please beware that this is not okay and should not go unnoticed. I barely want to write a review because I hope that he'll find it in his heart to do the right thing and at least remove the motor and give me my money back so that I can proceed forward with building my beautiful Mustang. I really hope that somebody in the Better Bureau Business sees this business and helps others to get Justice.
