I stopped by today with my 9yr old son. I waited for over 20mins and wasn't greeted served or tended to. I don't speak spanish but I'm preety sure a gentleman told the ladies I had been waiting, he pointed in our direction twice - but for whatever reason no communication not even a question in my direction was made , it was a strangely humiliating experience. I had enough time to look around.. And particularly the dirt... This place is intense. Aged old air filters with clumps of dust clinging onto the vents, sticky chairs and tables... And just too many things stuck on walls Windows etc... This place is NOT SANITARY at all. They watched me leave, they saw my confused expression... Not one word was uttered. We are regular mother and son, light-skinned black British, but that shouldn't be a problem right?
My son pointed out a sign "we reserve the right not to serve anyone"
We didn't bother to complain exclaim or ask it wasn't busy there was nobody else waiting
😞
I wonder...
I really dont know how this people keep themselves in business. went to visit a friend in los angeles stopped at this lucy's on hoover OMG i ordered a burger with fries it was like the mcdonalds burgers are way better. it was nasty.
We also asked for 2 menudos i can not explain this but it was cold and the biggest pieces of menudo i have ever seen which is bad because they supposed to be small pieces not the whole stomach of the pig. the soup had no flavor its like they just boiled the meat and put salsa on top of it.
I mean this is a place thats been there for years and years. i really dont know how they do it... if i can rescue one good thing was the strawberry shake was so so needed more sugar and the bread bread was good they should stick to just do the baking...
