Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are amazing. I personally love the Bullrider. Lyon's has recently come under new ownership, however, and the customer service has taken a dip. You used to be able to call ahead for your sandwich and get a reliable estimate for when it would be ready. Now, I wouldn't even bother calling ahead at all. Today I was told it would be 40 minutes, I showed up 55 minutes after my call and still received my sandwich after customers who ordered in person in front of me in line. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I used to be a Lyon's faithful, but my excitement for their sandwiches is slowly waning.

I almost don’t want to review it so there isn’t a wait but the sandwiches are just so good. Thank god my apartment is a few blocks away and I can get the delicious turkey bacon ranch whenever I need it. Like I have no idea how it’s so good. Bread is delicious when toasted and with the cheese it’s just to die for highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

I used to love this neighborhood sandwich shop, but my recent visits have been disappointing. Since the new management took over, the quality has declined. The sandwiches are less flavorful, & the service feels rushed & less personal. (Shoutout to the guy who stayed because he’s the only reason I would even go in now) Being so close to this location my partner & I would probably spend an average of $100 - $130 a week here, but not anymore. The shelves are always empty & so are the fridges. It’s just really depressing to go in now. The atmosphere is still cozy, but it’s not enough to make up for the changes. I hope they can get back on track because it used to be a favorite spot of mine.
