Terrible customer service! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. This is our second Macy’s sectional, we went back because we loved our first one so much but after 10/12 years it was time for a new one. We purchased the couch with a matching ottoman several weeks ago. We had a 8-12 week wait time for it to be made and delivered, no big deal. The couch was delivered towards the 12 week mark and the ottoman was the wrong color/fabric. Before the delivery drivers left they called and had us talk to Macy’s and we were told us a new one would be delivered on a specific date (which was 6 days later). Slightly inconvenient but mistakes happen so whatever. I waited around all day on the day the correct ottoman was supposed to be delivered. It never showed up. The holidays came and went and life was crazy and we called Macy’s the beginning of the year and were trying to figure out what was happening. The customer service was terrible. The sales lady was rude and acted annoyed that we had an issue that needed to be dealt with. After 3-4 calls we were told out card would need to be charged for another ottoman but after it was delivered they would refund it. (Ummm....no!!) Macy’s does not want to make this right. Also the large cushion on our chaise lounge side of the couch has a bunch of loose stitching and I think that is unacceptable for a brand new piece of $2000 furniture. As much as I love this couch I will not be taking any more business to Macy’s from now on. Please save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere!
