Customer service at the customer service desk was top notch. They really helped us get the best price possible and were very engaging and nice. However, I had one bad experience around Christmas when they were closing at midnight. The mall closed at 11pm, and after the announcement that the mall doors were closing I exclaimed a bit loudly to my mom about how I was upset the mall was closing (we'd forgotten to check the hours). I wasn't mad or anything, just disappointed and being expressive about it, saying "Ohhhh noo!". A female employee with a phone or a walkie talkie who had been working with shoes nearby, stomped up into the center of the aisle and kind of rudely yelled at us that Macy's was open until midnight. It was a little startling so I didn't know how to respond at first. She looked mad and was looking straight at me like she didn't like me. I frowned and simply said, "we know," and returned to conversation with my mom rather than confronting her. It kind of ruined the rest of our night, so we left a little bummed. Even my mom felt uncomfortable. I'm still very confused by her reaction and would hope that late night shoppers would be treated just as well as daytime shoppers.

I like my hometown Macy's. Had a strange ripped pocket situation on my newly purchased jeans. They exchanged it for me and will ship it to me free of charge. Love this department store. Always cordial and customer service is great.

Store was limited on some sizes due to the holidays. This is very understandable, I do wish one of the sales staff would have offered to check other stores in the area for the correct size. I will order what I couldn't find on line just won't have on time and that is sad.
Assistant manager was very helpful
