Trail with good views. Wish the city would do something to prevent the main trail from over eroding further, has slowly become less and less accessible for the past 5 years weve been here. The front entrance is now at a grade that is basically innaccessible to anyone incapable of walking, while about halfway down the trail theres an additional space that has become so steep basically no one in the winter continues by it. Thus the half ton of dog poop you will find at this stage in the trail.

Magpie Forest is native Palouse Prairie, one of the most endangered ecosystems in the continental US. It's owned by WSU and shows what the Palouse looked like before it was developed for agriculture. There are some nice walking trails through here and you can watch the sunset from benches.
