I found Malaena a year ago when I moved to Los Angeles from New York, and she has helped me through the most challenging and significant transition of my life. Her love and support have helped me break down barriers (between others and within myself), and she has become a pillar in my journey of growth and healing. I have had therapists in the past whom I liked very much, but I was looking for someone who could assist me in diving deeper into my spiritual journey. Words can not capture the gratitude I have for finding Malaena.
Malaena radiates loving energy in such a unique and genuine way and is generous with her energy and experiences. She is much more than a therapist. The connection is tangible, like how deeply she cares for the community/sisterhood she is creating. How she shows up for me, for my pain and for my struggles, is authentic and can not simply be learned.
In just a year, Malaena has taught me so many profound lessons. Her vulnerability has shown me that it is okay to be vulnerable myself. By holding space for me in ways I did not know was possible, she has taught me how to hold space for my own emotions. Her nonjudgment has shown me it is possible to be in an accepting relationship. Her grace is teaching me self-compassion. Her authenticity has taught me trust. With her loving kindness, she has shown me that unconditional love exists. The generosity of sharing her own experiences is teaching me to surrender to my own. Her gentle reminders help me find clarity and remember what matters. She is teaching me how to find myself.
