Excellent! Rene has worked on numerous major projects at our home over the past 12 years. He stripped and refinished our mid-60s, double-entry door, restoring it from weathered, much-painted, and water-damaged, back to its original color and beauty. He is a true artisan, with creative ideas and specialized skills for bringing wood to life. He turned a new, inexpensive pine fireplace mantel into a stunning centerpiece that looks antique and mahogany, and refinished an ugly side-board and a new stairway handrail to match. He transformed our mid-60s kitchen cabinets into a French farmhouse style that brought out the original wood grain. He refinished the window moulding in our family room, and matching ceiling beam boxes, creating a warm, glowing antique appearance. Rene is an amiable guy,loves his work and a total pro. Several friends and neighbors have used him after seeing his work on our home.
