The entire trail system, including this park, and the new bridge, and related parks are cool for recreational leg stretching, outdoor mental health therapy, natural light exposure or the other virtues of visiting a park!

When my husband and I moved to WA 3 yrs ago, this was the first place we came upon. Our first look of WA was green yall strong trees. Crystal clear waters that allowed you to see your reflection. We spent our days sleeping with our dog in the kush green grasses. We were homeless but Maplewood felt like home. I come here at least monthly to clear my head. My husband and I have used the dog park to walk WayneJacob (yorkiepoo). However, I'd steer clear of the restrooms if I'm alone. Always go with someone you trust.
