Very interesting nursery! They grow much of their stock in their own greenhouses on the property, which is nice because you can peek inside and see what may be coming down the line later and be able to see where the stock comes from. They have a nice selection of rare plants that has really expanded since I was last there a few months ago and for relatively competitive prices compared to other shops in town. If you aren't a rare indoor plant nerd, there's still plenty of plants for you, too! Staff is always nice, courteous, and ready to help. I did have a strange phone call once where they wouldn't check the stock on a certain plant I saw last weekend (I've seen people buy out an entire shelf of plants there once and I live about 20 miles from them, so I had to be sure). Other than that, they're pretty helpful and kind!
Something that did happen that made me quite sad was the fact that I missed when they were trying to do limited greenhouse entry to allow people to really see the stock inside. According to a staff member, folks were attempting to prop lift (tear off and steal) parts of their mother plants.
While I completely understand their reasoning for closing the greenhouses to the public, I am extremely disappointed because I had been looking forward to doing so for months! I'm most disappointed in the folks that ruined the store owner's trust. Shame on you for ruining it for everyone.
All in all, still a lovely nursery and very much worth a trip!
