One of the best places to hike and walk in the area! Egrets, Osprey, and many other cool birds nest nearby. Great views, cool plants and trees and fungi!

A very nice place to visit but we couldn’t find much information. Note that the location of this pin is just a parking space with porta potties - there isn’t a visitor centre or any facilities here otherwise. Also, the former campsite is closed permanently and it seems very heavily forbidden to camp in here at all. It’s patrolled at night by a security guard to keep people out. Worth a visit, a very eerie place but interesting all the same!

I love come and doing a quick walk/hike here except when they don't open their gates when they are supposed too. To come and wait to have them never open the gate, is extremely frustrating.
