Margo helped myself and my husband purchase our first home back in 2021. I heard of her via word of mouth from a friend, who also used her services, and am so happy I chose her to be our agent! It was extremely refreshing to work with Margo to handle our purchase and loan. When it came to buying, Margo was extremely responsive to our needs. She helped us as we evaluated place after place, handling all the covid protocols and keeping us and the sellers safe. She talked us through the positives and negatives of choices, what might affect our lives as we moved from AG to Paso, and then negotiated an offer that was accepted for our dream home. Yet, even while we fretted, Margo was standing by ready to help morning and night. Even after the sale had closed, Margo has been there to communicate with the previous owners on our (or their) behalf. For the loan, it was extremely convenient to work with Margo. She knew our budget from the very beginning and helped arrange everything to make sure our offer was as strong as possible. Throughout the process, she made sure every "i" was dotted and "t" crossed. The loan closed on-time and without a hitch. Buying and selling a home is extremely stressful, and while Margo can't get rid of all the stress, she certainly helped reduce it.

I have been extremely pleased to be represented by Margo in my purchase of a home in Los Osos. Margo was recommended by a mutual friend who described her as kind, diligent and ethical and I couldn't agree more. Margo was patient with us as we made several trips from San Diego to explore real estate listings and ultimately purchase our home. The small number of listings available and touring homes during the pandemic made this especially challenging. Margo knows the San Luis Obispo area extremely well. When ultimately we decided to purchase a "fixer upper," Margo went above and beyond in helping us. With our approval, she recommended and brought in a local contractor to the home inspection; and she arranged for bids for repair work identified in the inspection. She developed an effective working relationship with the seller's agent and made several trips to the property to ensure that a large number of owner's personal belongings were removed by the close of escrow. In addition, I was impressed by Margo's knowledge of the intricacies of the real estate contract and she made several helpful recommendations as we negotiated the contract. If you want a real estate agent who is kind, knowledgeable and who puts your interests first, I highly recommend Margo Mason.
