During the ammo shortage of November 2020 and the following year, Marin Firearms charged exorbitant prices for ammo, at one time $50 for 50 rounds of 9mm. Compare that to Sportsman's that ALWAYS charged a lower and much more reasonable and non-exploitative price. I vowed after that experience to NEVER purchase from Marin Firearms. In fact, on the day I went in, I was so disgusted by their arrogant attitude that I left and bought nothing. Never returned, never will.
The store got new owners in the last few years so any reviews over 3 years old is more than likely irrelevant now. Selection of weapons is the best in the area. Service is good, they go out of your way to hellp you out. I have bought several guns there at this point and everything has checked out. It has gone very smoothly.
The feeling I got from this place was that they didn't feel like making a sale. I was the only one in this place and no one out of three could even bother to get up out of their chair to talk. During our conversation all of them couldn't have came off more arrogant and off putting. Definitely will never buy from their and will go out of my way to tell people not to shop here.
I bought my gun today from triple a sporting goods is awesome, definitely recommend buying from them if you can.
