This is right across the Golden Gate Bridge at the tip of southern Marin county. The view up here to see the Golden Gate Bridge with San Francisco is amazing. Only wish I was here during the sunset and into the night. Sometimes parking is challenging at popular times.

Visiting the Marine Headlands is an absolute treat! The views are stunning, with the ocean stretching out endlessly and the coastline looking ruggedly beautiful. I loved just standing there, taking in the fresh sea breeze and the incredible scenery. The mix of greenery and cliffs makes for some great photos and peaceful moments. If you're a fan of amazing ocean views and nature, you definitely need to check this place out!

That's the spot where I take tourists and then work out the scheme on how to get back to San Francisco without paying exorbitant Golden Gate fees. Biking is usually the right choice. The hills are steep, you have been warned.
