Prices are absurdly high.
It’s convenient to have this in the area and they do have good service, but their prices are out of control. Sliced boar’s head ham is $15 a pound. A head of broccoli is $8. This is 3x the cost of the Safeway a few blocks away.
My partner and I have stopped shopping here because the prices are so high.
Nice grocery in the turistic Marina area. They got acceptable prices for the expensive neighborhood they are located at. Good selection of quality products. They have real bread and some fine stuff too. Haven't tried the prepared food section but it looks pretty good. And there are a bunch of quality real Italian food products. Appreciated their fantasy about polenta dishes, I want to suggest to bring this particular one I'm attaching the picture of, to some local town banquets in the Italian Alps. I'm sure local people up there will make some real interesting and constructive comments about it.
