TL;DR Mark Popach is phenomenal at what he does and trusting him to help you find a home will be the best decision you make.
The long version: As first-time home buyers (who started our search a year sooner than we had planned to due to unexpected circumstances), my husband and I were overwhelmed. We spent hours on Redfin and Zillow and were going to open houses ourselves and reading books and trying to educate ourselves about the process. We met Mark during our search and felt connected to him almost immediately. He is extraordinarily kind, has a wealth of knowledge, and also genuinely seeks to understand what his clients are looking for. After doing a few tours with him and spending some time getting to know him, we had no doubt we wanted to work with him exclusively.
Throughout the process, he constantly helped refine our search and intently took feedback as we looked at a variety of homes. He offered advice and guidance and helped steer us in moments we lacked clarity, but never made us feel rushed or pressured. As our own desires and priorities evolved during the search, he was a wonderful thought partner to help us really nail down what would work best for us now and in the future.
Once we found our home, he handled the whole process from putting in the offer all the way to closing with skill and ease — and made sure to communicate with us every step of the way. We are the sorts of people who like to learn and he patiently answered all our questions and supported our own personal interest in being educated home-buyers.
We’re endlessly grateful to Mark for making what we know could have been an extremely stressful time in our lives very much the opposite. If you’re looking to buy a home, we recommend him unreservedly. You won’t regret it!
Thank you for everything, Mark! :)
