Just what you'd expect from a corner grocery store: clean, friendly, and expensive! $9 for a head of cabbage...but it saved me 40+ minutes going to Safeway.
I live just down the road. If I need something in a hurry, it's only a 1-minute drive. But usually I just walk there every couple days. It's about a half hour round trip, and always a pleasant walk along the Allyn waterfront. It's a nice, small-town convenience store. And that about sums it up right there.. You won't really save any money shopping here. It's not where you'll want to do your weekly grocery shopping (unless you're better off financially than the average Joe, and don't mind paying a little extra to avoid a crowded grocery store). It's a last stop for beer and smokes on the way to go fishing. It's where I go when I just got back from Safeway (about 10-15 minutes up the road) and I forgot to get milk, or eggs, or TP, or any one of the other interchangeable items that I always forget one of... It's convenient, quaint, and laid-back. And the staff is friendly.. I LOVE this place
