I was not impressed. Although, I did give him the benefit of the doubt and attended several sessions. He gave bad examples and advice about medications, which he’s not a doctor and not trained for. He spent a lot of time during our first session talking about his website that needed updating. He seems to have his standard techniques, reading list, and exercises. When both my partner were confused with the first exercise, he didn’t seem to know what to do, so he moved on to another exercise. During the second exercise, when I surprised him with thinking outside the box, he seemed confused and then irritated. He continued to preach that I needed to use feeling words. At the end of the session, he smugly gave me a list of “feeling” words to study for the next week... The words I had been using were on the list!! In short, this guy has a cookie cutter style of treatment that he tries to use for everyone. It’s ineffective and a waste of time.
Well, this all seems like a grave violation of privacy, if not a possible actual privacy law violation.
Let these replies by the owner serve as just one example of the owner’s poor behavior and grave lack of professionalism.
Clearly he lacks when it comes to record keeping as well.
Thank you for proving my point for me sir. I sincerely hope you do better for future clients bc this is sick.
