Based off our experience I would think they get robbed alot but cool store
Marshalls and HomeGoods has got to be one of my favorite stores on the planet. As long as you show up with a pocket full of fake hundreds, there's good times to be had.
Don't commit any crime, don't try to make any actual purchases, you just take the fake hundreds and hide them around the store in various places; inside vases, stash some in those little holders for your toothbrush that you put in the bathroom. Hell, my personal favorite is to just drop them on the floor and wait.
Wait for middle-aged white women to spot them from afar, slowly creep up and act like they didn't see it, but then slowly kind of put their foot over it and then pick it up, only to find out its just fake Monopoly money that you bought next door at Party City. Nothing brings me quite as much joy as seeing a small child find what they think is probably more money than they've ever seen in their life inside a vase at Marshalls, run joyfully up to their parents with a smile, just to be laughed at, and have their whole world shattered in an instant. Sorry Timmy, no new Fortnight skins for you!
Best part is, everybody just throws the money back on the floor after their day has been ruined, and the cycle begins anew! When you're finally done laughing at everyone else's misfortune, You just collect your fake cash, walk back to Party City and return it! It's a free afternoon of fun! As long as you don't buy anything, cuz everything in here is gaudy and awful and expensive. It's basically the Cafe Rio of furniture/ clothing stores. I mean, you walk in there thinking it's going to be fun but then they just don't open the door for you on New Year's so you don't really know what the food tastes like. But you can damn well be sure that you're going to tell everyone else that it's terrible because the service was terrible and forget you guy that just gave me the cold shoulder that day. I still see you, standing there, sweeping nothing, acting like you don't see me.
Marshalls does do a solid deal on a shirt every now and again.
5/5 people think they slick, when they're picking up money that ain't theirs
