park intentions: walk with dog.
perhaps we picked the wrong day-but this park was extremely lack-luster for my needs. pros past my needs: fishing. lots of docks for licensed fishers to legally fish. a really fun looking children's area close to a dock for them to run to and fro. cons: lake bugs, abundance of trash due to lack of bins (and lazy citizens, more importantly), graffiti abound, toilet areas, and the majority of the park being the lake itself... seems like a popular spot for the kids in the neighborhood which I'm happy to see regardless of my needs. the sunset was gorgeous. did I regret going? no. will I go again? probably not.
Me and my family love coming here. The park is well maintained, the grand babies love jumping off of the dock, great for paddle boarding, bbq's, etc. It's local, so when we want to cool off it's nearby. They have life vests that you could borrow, but please put them back for the next lake goer.
And always, please clean up after yourself so we can continue to enjoy this lake
