Let me start off with, we do not display an entitled demeanor. We are but humble, blue collar types. I only mention this because of some of the previous reviews, and the general attitude of other customers.
Enough about that. Foremost, the shop was busy. Yet, a very nice counter person (Albanian lady) was the kindest and most patient representative at the counter. We of course asked a lot of questions about their offerings. Specifically when it comes to nuts, as my wife has an allergy.
As for the sweets. First, don't come light in the wallet. You're going to pony up for some of their treats. Well worth every bit.
My favorite had to be the pistachio , bavarian creme pastry, Napoleon I believe. Very light and decadent. Though the hazelnut was very close. We sampled 6 of their sweet treats, while my wife had a pink rose latte, while I had the Americana. Both were devine.
I can see why there are complaints of certain items being sold out, they are simply a great treat. I would suggest arriving early.
The entire staff was beyond polite, and very well mannered. We will most definitely return, even though we live 3 hours away.
