After spending over 1k cleaning up fiberglass from my old mattress (Classic Brand Cool Gel), I needed a new bed (but on a budget). I was assured by multiple employees that these mattresses are safe, so I decided to try memory foam again.
A habit I have picked up from the fiberglass mess mentioned above is checking my clothes with a flashlight periodically. After setting up the new mattress I checked my clothes and was horrified to see fiberglass. I obviously touched the mattress, so I checked my hands and saw fiberglass dust on them as well. Unless these mattresses are manufactered with iridescent pet hair and glitter, it was quite obviously fiberglass left over from manufacturing or something. After one of the worst weeks ever cleaning this stuff up, and having no mattress to sleep on, I thought I finally had a solution. I ended up with something exacerbating the problem instead.
I will update this review based on how they handle it, but so far I'm not happy with that either. They tried to convince me it wasn't fiberglass, which I found unreal considering that substance now haunts me everyday. They concluded with something like "uh, sure, yeah, it shouldn't have fiberglass ... but I'll let my district manager know and maybe they will reach out." I feel like my concerns were/are not being taken seriously, and I am at my wit's end.
