A great place to have a picnic at the top for those who are not able to walk much with a nice view of the water and Mt. Tahoma (Rainier) on a clear day. 2 separate trail heads, main one with a parking lot. The area with the view is the steeper climb back up. Loose rubble and sand so only go if you’re sure-footed; Its a great workout. you can walk along the beach if the tide is right. Look out for poison oak it is often mixed in with other plants.

The park features a network of well-maintained trails that meander through the forested areas, offering a chance to explore the island's ecosystem.
The trails are suitable for hiking or gentle strolls, and they provide opportunities to immerse yourself in the nature’s embrace.

Very nice view of the water, and a good hike to the beach. Can be tough walking back up the switch back trail to the main road. Apparently there is a campground near the beach.
