I chose Mauve Skin Care because of its reviews on Yelp and also based on its pricing. I was not disappointed at all. First of all Elena is a very nice person. She will ask you a few questions to suits better your needs and what would be good for you. Then during the session, she will explain everything very calmly and also "test" it on your shoulder to show you the sensation, which is great. She is very gentle, speak softly and not too often. It was important for me since I really wanted to relax rather than having a full conversation. At the end, she showed me a few products that could help improve my skin. You don't buy anything there, she just recommend it for you so no obligation. I highly highly recommend this place a 100%!
I was really happy with my facial here! Elena was very detailed in finding out my skin care history, what I wanted out of the session, and describing both my options and her best recommendations.
The treatment itself was fantastic, and I appreciated her check-ins to make sure I was comfortable, let me know what was next, and how new treatments would feel so I wasn't surprised. She also showed me what products I could use at home to keep up my skin care routine (not ones she sells, just her favorites!)
I will absolutely come here next time as well, the treatment results were great, the price is competitively, and I really appreciated how Elena listened to what I was looking for and her expertise on how to achieve it.
