Maverik

Everything is pretty good here except the fact the employees need more training on Maverick policies and procedures. I had to pull into the parking lot to figure out my GPS, I parked in the informal campsite area and after five minutes an employee named "Fitch" knocked on my passenger window with his key pretty hard and told me that I couldn't park here and to leave. Due to his attitude, I rolled down my window and asked him where are the signs that state No parking? His response, I don't need signs, you're on my concrete and you need to leave. I told him he can do what he feels he needs to do and I'm going to continue doing what I need to do in order to get where I need to go. I rolled up the window, he said a few other things I couldn't make out and he went back into the store. A few minutes later right when I finishing up my phone call and updated my GPS. "Fitch" came back to my vehicle on the phone. He approached my driver window and said a few things but I chose to ignore him and took a video of him since he would not stop while I was on an important call. He realized I was recording him and he walked away. A few minutes later I departed the property to my destination. My disappointment in all this is the fact an employee took it upon himself to play security guard when they have a contract with a security company, he was in the wrong originally because Maverick is considered a informal campsite throughout the US, and he'd rather focus on me and where I'm parked vs tend to the gapping line off customers that were inside. I've worked for Maverick and I've worked for the security company they are contracted with. I know both sides of the fence. Other than posting a long review, I do plan to contact his boss in order to get him corrected because he definitely places himself in high risk danger by doing this and the company is liable for him.

They claim to be a 24 hour gas station yet the employees can just close down shop and smoke cigarettes out front, at their discretion. Whoever was working there on the morning of May 18 at 2:20 AM clearly has no regard for the fact this place is advertised as a 24 hour gas station.

Stopped in to get gas I will definitely be shopping elsewhere from now on the person working here deserves to be in jail. He made a false police report against one of your guys's customers today. Holy inappropriate. Calling her a druggie shame on you sir. I will be sharing with anybody who will listen the kind of employees that this store has. You look like somebody who uses drugs more than she did. Pretty sad someone can't just come get a drink without being harassed.
