It is a run of the mill Mexican joint. Very aesthetic, sweet mango margarita (which I liked) guy said he barely tasted the banana but I liked his too.
They have many many gluten free options and listen well to no dairy on your plate! I meant to try the Colorado but got overly excited about being able to have fajitas (as you know if you're celiac most places use a mix in their fajita so you can't have it) but here I could so I'll have to go back to try that sometime.
I do wish the chips were warm. These seemed like plain white chips out a bag. Salsa was good so were the beans. We enjoyed our pork fajita although Mexican flavor was missed. It was not bad. It was fresh and filling. There just was more peppers and onion than meat, and lacking that authentic Mexican flavor. It was okay. Not gross or bad but not amazing I've tasted better seasoned Mexican that's still gluten free other than this.
The waitress/ bartender seemed a little odd. Playing depressing country music in a Mexican place is not what we expected (she did change it back to Mexican after more people showedup but not when we did). She also asked me for my name before we left, so I'm not sure if she was thinking I was familiar, she was just trying to be friendly, or if she was concerned my ID was fake (lol cause you know they will ask you questions to see if it matches but she asked before we were about to get the check it caught me off guard and was out of nowhere so it was just a little weird lol) I also wish she brought more chips hahah
All in all we will likely come back, as it's hard to find decent gluten free safe havens. Thank you for offering us choices!
3/5. I will change the rating in the future if it improves.
