Update to my initial review which is below. I was contacted by Shane and assured that the experience I had was not the norm and could I please bring my car back and that he would be sure to come over to meet me.
I arranged for a return, dropped off the car at 9:30 for a re-alignment and a cleaning… I mentioned to the attendant that I had an appointment with Shane. Nothing was done to get him or have him meet with me.
At 4:30 I had not heard anything so I texted and they said it would be ready by 5 and that I could pick it up before 5:30. I got there at 5:05 and the attendant said she would have them bring it around, that they would want to test drive it with me (something that was never mentioned but appreciated). I waited until 5:20 and finally went back and asked her what was going on. She said she was just printing the paperwork (really). I then heard her tell someone to get the car over to the washing bay and a couple minutes later saw my car drive by. The car wasn’t ready, she lied about it and was making me wait past their closing time to get the car that was supposed to be ready by 5.
I went over and asked her what was going on and called her out on the fact that it was just now being washed. It took another 10 minutes for me to get my car…
Unfortunately everything was bungled from the beginning and my return service just shows that they do not have quality service, honest employees, and that they have total lack of regard for the customer.
McKenna Volkswagen has only proven themselves as a subpar business sorry, Shane, but service and staff receive an F.
The service received was, unfortunately, very poor. The customer service agent was fine, but as it was raining she said we did t need to do the wash but I said that if they could at least vacuum and wipe the interior, that would be great, it wasn't done at all. I also asked to have my wiper blades changed, thinking that $20-30 would cover a great set of blades. I was charged 9over 80 dollars and I am not even sure that they were changed, the new blades are horrible, if they are new, they are the cheapest blades on the market and they skip, leave streaks and I am going to have to pay to get new blades that actually work.
Finally, I go to pay and am just about to swipe my card when I see on the screen that. 3% fee will be imposed for using credit. I'm paying you over $800 for a car service that uses substandard parts and you expect me to pay your credit card processing fees? I'm sorry but that is the final thing that ensures that I will never be back to McKenna auto. I am planning on purchasing a new car this year but know for sure that it will not be from McKenna.
