Bought a Meater+ probe less than a year ago. Last time I used it and pulled it out of my steak after cooking, it was suddenly dissolved and broken into pieces. The inner part of the probe got separated from the metal cover and the tip of the stick was lose. I was putting it carefully back together, but since it doesn’t work anymore. No connection and apparently not charging. I opened a support ticket more than two weeks ago and I am chasing their support since then. Only responses from their bots repeatedly requesting same things like they did on their web forms (proof of purchase, serial numbers bla bla incl. images or photos of same). There seems to be no other way to reach their support. I think they are hiding on purpose because they are probably swamped with customer requests due to low quality of products. I still like the idea and the concept of the Meater, but the product execution is of too low quality. The support experience is really bad. It simply sucks. I wouldn't purchase the product again and wouldn't recommend buying it either. Too flimsy and fragile, also not very accurate in temperature measurements.

I so agree with all you guys. They wanted me to send them the shipping stuff on the way back that I paid for and I did as they asked. I have not heard one word from them since then. And I thought it was me until I read all of you. Man I need this money so I can get a gift . just sitting here waiting for refund as I waited for product. And did it early aswell. Gezzzzzz

I wish I had read Google reviews. Purchased this as a gift for my husband. He said he didn’t need it so trying to make a return...there’s no way to make a return...it says I need to email MEATER to wait for a response...waiting, waiting...it also says they are extremely busy so who knows when I’ll hear back from them-did some other research online & says when I do actually get some customer service I have to pay a 15% restocking fee + shipping-Is this the year 1960? I shop primarily online & with Amazon for their great customer service. Good companies always stand by their products...when a company (like MEATER) treat their customers in this fashion it says multitudes about how good their product is or in this case isn’t!
