Dhyana introduced me to pilates today at her cozy and unique space in the U-District. She's such a positive and supportive presence and such a great teacher. I've often struggled in dance and yoga classes with understanding how to engage or isolate the muscles that the teacher is talking about. She makes it so clear! Today I learned several pilates movements and she was careful to demonstrate the correct form as well as how to breathe to make the work more effective. I felt so invigorated afterward, but I worked for it!

Dhyana is a highly skilled, deeply intuitive teacher with a twinkle in her eye. She begins each Meditation in Motion class with a check-in and my intention for the class. Then, she creates a class tailored to my needs. In 10 classes I'm stronger, more limber, and bringing a much needed rejuvenation into my week.

I am served very well by attending Dhyana's Rise and Shine program.
It reminds me to get my day going - at 8.15am via zoom - by connecting with my physical body before coffee - although the latter is on the list too.
Dhyana is guiding the attendees through the exercises with great attention to each - since each has their special limitations and strengths. She is a very competent and skilled trainer. I feel very energized after the 30 min session.
