First of all, Meg is beyond incredible! We can’t say enough great things about her! She emailed us back right away and was able to work with our schedule. She made sure to communicate with us the entire time we were planning the shoot and she was early and extremely professional the day of the shoot. She was so helpful with our posing and made sure we got every shot we wanted. Not to mention, she is one of the sweetest people on the planet! We really enjoyed her positive energy and the photos came out amazing! Not only that, she got us our photos in less than a week!! Thank you Meg, you’re the best!

Meg is an absolute angel and I was so lucky to stumble upon her. We connected on NextDoor and when I looked at her previous work, I knew she was talented. I hired her to take the photos for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah ceremony and party, even though she had never attended a Bat Mitzvah. Needless to say, I was blown away by her willingness to be extremely accommodating, her more than reasonable prices, her calm and kind demeanor, her responsiveness and most importantly, the incredible photos she took. Within a week after the event, she sent me all the photos in digital form and even spent significant time touching them up. I have received so many comments about how incredibly beautiful the photos are. Not only did sure take all the formula photos I requested, but she managed to capture all the important moments in a candid, natural and special way. She has a way of capturing the feeling of an event and honing in on the most important subjects and moments. I can’t thank Meg enough for the passion and hard work she put into our event. I normally hate photos of myself and I even loved those! Meg is a truly amazing artist and person and choosing to hire her was the best decision of all I made in the planning of my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. I will use her during every special occasion going forward and I’m pretty sure that after all the temple members see my photos, she will be in high demand on the Bar/t Mitzvah circuit! Meg was wonderful. From our very first communication all the way to photo delivery she had a great attitude and made us feel assured that everything would turn out great, and it did! Since our budget wasn’t the highest I searched far and wide for an affordable, and GOOD, photographer. Honestly those two qualities are difficult to find in the same person. I know that what’s “affordable” is different for everyone so I’ll just say that Meg’s quality of work would typically cost much more than what she charged us.
On our wedding day she made sure to get plenty of coverage including bridal and groom prep. She was unobtrusive yet still managed to get all the shots, without a second shooter, which was very impressive! She checked in throughout the day and was in no rush to leave even when I suggested she could. She really did a wonderful job and I will be recommending her to anyone I know getting married in the future!
If you’re on the fence about spending money on a professional photographer for your big day let me tell you that if you go with Meg Hudson Photography you will not be disappointed. She’s amazing! Thank you Meg!
