What can I say, Megan is just awesome!

She was a joy for us to work with; she’s very professional both in email correspondence and her technical photography skills, but the most enjoyable part about working with Megan was how fun she made our wedding day.

We had a very small budget for our elopement, but the one thing that was worth every penny was having Megan there! My husband has no problem modeling and being in-front of a camera, but she made me feel comfortable with how fun and easy her posing techniques are. I walked away from the day, feeling like Megan was apart of our little family!

All my friends and family LOVE our photos, and I think they’re able a bit jealous of the epic location she helped us choose with her vast knowledge of PNW beauties and backdrops.

If you’re on the fence about having a wedding photographer for your special day, you will never have to second guess the investment with Megan!

PS- since we have moved back to the east coast, I secretly wish Megan lived near us to capture all of our family moments!

Megan is absolutely the best and I am so sad she doesn’t live closer. I found Megan for our destination wedding - I lived in Florida at the time and she was the best to coordinate and communicate with even though she was completely across the country in Washington. She is the absolute best when it comes to adventure sessions and beautiful, natural back drops. She did our engagement and wedding photos and I can honestly say that without Megan, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same. She helped make it and I feel like I gained a friend in the process. From helping me on destinations I was considering for the wedding, to working with me on the perfect location for our photos - she was always there! On top of that, her personality is amazing! I was so nervous for photos and once we got started she made it so easy to laugh and have fun. I just can’t recommend her enough!

I found Megan Montalvo Photography during a google search when I was planning our elopement. After researching several photographers in Washington State, Megan's photography stood out amongst all of them. I emailed her and received a quick response. We set up a Zoom meet and my husband and I knew that Megan was going to be a perfect fit to photograph our special day. Megan was so knowledgeable and experienced with photography. Everything felt much easier to plan after speaking with Megan. Megan provided us with many resources to help plan our elopement such as; makeup artist, hair stylist, florist and lodging. Megan eased any stress we may have been experiencing planning an elopement out of state and helped us throughout the entire process. The day of our elopement was magical. We started with the first look in which Megan played a beautiful song for us. We then drove towards the area where we planned to take more pictures and elope. We decided that since the road was closed, we would hike up to our ceremony location. We had an absolute blast hiking on the day of our elopement with our dog and we were delighted that Megan was excited to hike with us. Our wedding pictures exceeded our expectations and were absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend hiring Megan Montalvo Photography. We cannot wait to hire Megan again to photograph more beautiful memories in the mountains of Washington. Hiring Megan was the best decision we made and I promise that you will not regret it.
