She is one of the best doctors I ever had! She is amazingly patient and respect patient's voice a lot. I gave my daughter a birth in October, and the labor was super slow. It ended up an unexpected C section, which I wanted to prevent. However I am 100% content with the result because she understood my desire of natural birth and gave me every opportunity. By the time she recommended C section I was able to understand that it was medically necessary and I had done everything possible. We are so lucky to have a doctor like her in Santa Barbara. I can't wait to have another baby with her.

She is the most gentle kind physician. We had a really long and tough delivery and Dr. Drake was so encouraging throughout the whole process. She always made me feel safe and I knew that my
Baby was in the best of hands! Honestly she is a game changer for obstetrics in Santa Barbara. We are so lucky to have her!

I hate to write a bad review because Dr. Drake is truly a great doctor in person. This review is more so toward the practice. The practice is horribly run. She has one lady that answers the phones and patient inquires and you're lucky if someone picks up the phone when trying to call their office. I have had urgent issues come up on multiple occasions where I needed to talk to Dr. Drake and I had to call the office so many times that I eventually gave up. This lack of response from the doctor and practice is horrible patient care and could have led to me being hospitalized. I have now been trying to request my records for over two months and haven't gotten them from them. Instead, they finally sent me the wrong patients records and never even apologized. Due to their lack of organization, I have had to cancel my new appointment multiple times as they need records from her office. Overall, Dr. Drake is a knowledgeable and great physician but would never recommend a practice where you can’t get a hold of the doctor.
