I need to go to the center as something in my eye bothered me. I had mixed experiences and hopefully it will help you for your future trip if ever needed.
Great part: The appointment was made on the same day once the assistant realized the urgency.
Good part: This is a training center so the student will exam the patient first. It depends on individual. But it did not bother me to be one of samples. We need to have good future eye doctors.
Great part: The doctor is very good ! He clearly cares a lot and is technically excellent. He even called the day after the procedure.
Not too good part: I received the full bill as if no insurance.
Not too good part: they did not make the followup appointment
Terrible part: It turned out they do courtesy billing to your insurance company as they are not contracted with medical facility. My insurance company instructed me that it is easier if the eye center bills them directly so they get all the needed information. When I called asking the billing department in the eye center to fax the claim, I was told they wouldn't do that unless I pay over the phone. I had to contest it before the lady agreed. I felt like being treated like a outlaw who may run away with $200 medical bill...

I made an appointment 6 weeks ago for a orthokeratology exam. The person I talked to said the cost would be $85.00. Allow 2-2 1/2 hours for this thorough exam. Fine... I must have received over 10 texts and emails reminding me of my appointment. When I got there the clinician and her student were cordial, and nice. Their exam took at the most was ten minutes, and I was told they couldn't help me because I wasn't using their branded contact lenses. So where was the thorough exam? No this was just a consultation NOT the full exam. Then the price became $105.00. I'm sure they do good work here, but by God the communication on what they do is sorely lacking. I am waiting to hear from the director of this operation. A total waste of my time...

I’ve been a patient here for about five years my experience is always the same, terrible. You hold for 15 20 minutes on the phone and then after holding you’re sent to their voicemail they take two three days to return your call Which is not good if you have it Eye semi emergency such as a lost lens. If I could find any other place for my type of contact lenses I would certainly be going there. I’ve stressed the long wait to them before they seem not to care it’s been the same for five years they never give good customer service. They need to hire enough staff to service the customer. Also there’s no benefit to their pricing.
