I was referred to Merrill Design by a contractor. I was trying to change a carport at the end of my house to garage. I originally met Jim Merrill in late October 2014, my check was cashed in early November. Two months in I asked that the front of the garage be pushed out 8 feet. This change costed me an additional 1500 dollars. This is just one example of the simple aggravation that Jim Merrill constantly cause me. After the original meeting Jim never took the time to call or meet up with me even after my requests. Long story short. It took from October 2014 to June 2015 to get my plans. The plans I have in my hand now don't have all the changes I asked for, nor do I have a receipt for the engineering work that I paid for. I am simply dumbfounded that such a simple project could take so long, cost so much, take so much of my time trying to keep it moving, and still not be satisfied.
