Use to be good. This was the only place I would go. I would bring over 100,000lbs of scrap Cast iron rotors to them a year. I’m a auto technician who also scraps on the side. Brought them over a 100 cat converters and I felt I was well taken care of. I would bring in case aluminum transmission cases and I was rod that if it had 5% or less steel they would give me clean so I thought that was great. I was In there every Saturday for years. Then I was given a horribly price on the same cast aluminum. I told the guy in the office what I had been told and he said bull. That’s never been ok and they have never done that. Well ok. So that’s your rule. I didn’t aske for this but it was given and now your acting like I’m trying to rip u off? Ok. Gave them another shot. Went on with all my clean yellow brass, copper # 1 and #2 separated. Asked for a price and was given a fair price at the scale. Then went inside and it was different. Reduced to honor what the guy at the scale said. Hispanic Gentalmen who has been there for years. Refused to give me my metal back. That was a year ago. Went back in, now they are not open on Saturday any longer. Have them another shot. This time I told them do not touch or dump my metal until I see a firm price. Yup. Same bait and switch. I took my stuff and left. They were trying to take it and dump it. It isn’t your stuff till you pay me for it remember that! With 5 other options in the port. Shop around. Your get better price and service.
