I have been trying for the last month to get my security deposit back and have gotten nowhere I left multiple message and sent emails and have gotten nothing. When I finally got in touch with someone they were so rude and short with me on the phone for absolutely no reason. They stated that they had gotten my numerous calls and e-mail but that the number of times I’ve called and left message was frustrating to them? I just want my deposit back and a resolution to my issue and if they had gotten all my messages then why the heck didn’t they reply to a single one of them. When I had finally gotten them on the phone they stated that Renee was out for a week and that was why they couldn’t help me currently? I had never even heard of Renee and when I asked more questions to get things sorted the receptionist was rude.
At this point I’ve put in a complaint at the BBB and am going to also call the city as they are not allowed to keep deposits past 21 days.
I lived at the Russo and if you are thinking of renting there the management company should be enough for you to not rent but if you are still thinking about it (I won’t lie the units are cute) MAYBE DONT RENT UNIT 213. The walls of this building are sooooo thin that you can hear everything and it is located right above the businesses below. From 9:30am-8pm the music coming through the floors is so loud you can make out every single word. It is especially loud in the bedroom and dining area.
It is also kinda of hard to get in touch with maintenance, they tell you they will be there at a certain time and won’t show.
I also still have the key to the apartment.I have contacted the office trying to figure out how to return them. This is low key a safety issue and they don’t seem to care. Which is another reason not to live at this building or in unit 213.
