Food was wonderful. Auntie Angie's lasagna has the perfect amount of sauce that is not too sweet-not too acidic. I took my wife for a date, and the ambiance didn't disappoint. The staff took turns serenading the customers to a live pianist and percussionist.
Only down side is the severe lack of parking in the area. They have a tiny lot that is valet, but the price is your tip.
We would definitely go there again.
It's no John and Vinny.
...but if this place put as much $ into their chef as their entertainment they would be unstoppable. The atmosphere, live music and wine were the exact opposite of the food: delicious, tasteful, fresh, sensual, and went down easy. Honestly, worth coming back for those alone.
Don't come here for the food. Not sure what motivated it but overheard from the table next to us: "You know what's wrong about California? it has the word gas station food... ever" bad food was on the mind.
