I did not go 2the Concord Midas facility because I was told, over the phone, that an electric power gear was only warranted 4 3mos &I had gotten mine installed a yr, ago. I really think it's the gear box that I bought because both door switches r inoperable.

Saw the advertisement for the $24.99 road package and scheduled an appointment for 2 of my cars. Scott was the one who scheduled the appointment and I told him at the time of scheduling what kind of cars I had. I confirmed with him the price would be 24.99 plus tax and disposal fees and he said yes. Fast forward to day of the appointment for 1st car. My 16 year old daughter goes in to get the oil changed and they tell her $83.31. She calls me and they said that the oil change special was not for synthetic oil, which my car took. I then called the store directly and spoke to Scott. I told him that when I called to schedule the appointment and confirmed the pricing, he should have told me that it was not valid on the cars I was scheduling. He then barks "Well what do you want me to do?! What do you want?! The car is up on the rack already drained." I said, "Put the conventional in it." He then yells to someone else, "hey we're putting conventional in that one." I told him thank you and was in the middle of saying that we would do the same for my other car when he hung up on me. The MANAGER HUNG UP ON ME. At no point did I yell, curse, call names, anything. He was most unprofessional. I called back immediately and spoke to him again. I told him I did not appreciate being hung up on and I wanted the general manager's name and phone number. He wouldn't give it to me, said for me to call the 800 number. I said thank you and we hung up. I called corporate immediately. They said they'd have someone contact me within 3 days. Two weeks later, I call again. Same thing. A week later the regional manager, located in Los Angeles, calls me to offer a free oil change at any Midas. I refuse, saying I want a full refund at this point. He says that Antioch Midas is a franchise and they are currently closed down. That he would have to call the franchise owner to get my refund. Says he'll call me back the next day. That was June 23 and today is July 8. Next step is BBB.
