I booked a basic mani and standard pedi as a birthday present to myself and it was a little challenging to book online because of all the questions, but I grew to appreciate the thoroughness after the pre-visit survey.
Once I arrived on the day of my appointment, I was greeted and escorted to the lounge which was dimly lit with relaxing music playing, complete with snacks and drinks. My husband was able to hang out and wait for me, which was especially nice since it was starting to rain outside.
Liliana was my nail specialist and she was extremely considerate, asking for feedback on the length and shape of my nails before and after, checking what color I wanted and how I liked it on my nails, clarifying what services were included, and explaining the steps when I asked.
I’ve never been somewhere that does manis or pedis without a water soak, which was strange at first, but I appreciated the seaweed gel and hot towels to prep my skin.
I will definitely be back during my pregnancy, especially since I know they’re extremely hygienic and don’t use any excessive chemicals in the process.
