A great place to just get away for a day or two and we're only less than an hour from home! Great! We take our truck camper, something to BBQ, & the little dog. Bill hikes up to the lake to fish...got 5 big trout last week (catch & release). It is beautiful and so quiet this time of year. We had the campground to ourselves!

Easy hike to the falls and no one around but us. Great camping facilities too.

The name of this campground is a bit of a misnomer. There is no creek or falls immediately adjacent to the campground. The sites are well spaced in a pleasant pine forest, but there are no views in any direction because the campground is in a bit of a bowl.
