What a place! We visited twice during our overnight in Yakima.
A bit pricey for fast food, but you get your monies worth here; just make sure you’re hungry. My partner proclaimed their Chicken Cobb Salad Sandwich to be in his Top 5 Chicken Sandwiches he’s ever had. Loved it so much he got it again in the second visit. Their burger and curly fries are MASSIVE!
Wish we had room for their shakes.
Really cool historic photos and native beadwork on display. Plenty of seating, a bunch of dipping sauces to choose from, and multiple fountain drink machines.
The prices are my only complaint. Our first visit was $19 and it only consisted of a sandwich and small fountain drink!! The second visit was a sandwich, cheeseburger and curly fries for $31. 😲
My 1st experience here was not positive. Too crowded and with so many people, it was taking at least 40 minutes for orders to be filled, so I left before I could order. Braved it alone yesterday just before 11am, which was a perfect time. The lunch crowd arrived after I sat down with my food. The person taking my order helped me decide what burger to try and what side item to get. The burger was huge and should have been cut in half, so it would be less mess. I bought the Miner's burger with cheese and ended up taking 3 bites, but I knew I wasn't hungry when I arrived at Miner's. The tots were good and a small size is like a large anywhere else. It's enough for 4+ meals! Also bought a "real" strawberry shake that was delicious. I put my meal in my iced cooler to have later on, as I was traveling, on my way home. The shake I had on the road. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I used the restroom before I left and they were clean as well and an employee was waiting on me to finish so that he could clean the restroom again! My 2nd time was so much more positive and I might be back a 3rd time. I miss having an In N Out double double with cheese and unfortunately, Miner's doesn't fulfill that need, but they are not bad.
