Came in for the first time for dinner today.
Id say it’s typical westernized viet fare. I had the pho dac biet, and salt pepper wings.
Pho broth was very typical, beef was pre cooked before it went into my bowl.
Salt and pepper wings were wonderfully crispy, the batter they used was notably light and non greasy.
I asked for fish sauce on the side and found it very mild in flavor.
Definitely pricier, and can’t say it’s marginally better than other pho spots.
Total was $37.52 before tip.
I left satisfied.
Coming from North Vietnam, I had high expectations for Phở Hà Nội, aka Northern-style Phở, at this place. Unfortunately, it fell short with a broth that wasn't clear, an unexpected sugary taste, and the wrong type of noodles.
On the bright side, the Phở Đặc Biệt was decent, and the garlic chicken wings were surprisingly delicious. Service is fast and friendly. I would recommend trying everything except the Phở Hà Nội, as it doesn't live up to its name.
