Monterosso's is pretty okay. They don't have an online reservation system, so you need to call and leave a message or after 3:30. It's a tight space, antique train car, which is nice. The problem: many people who walk on board and turned away because they are booked up and these people have no choice, but to be in your personal dining space due to the the narrow walkway. They should put a sign outside letting people know reservation only, booked for the night to avoid this issue.
The server took forever to bring out bread and the bread was very different from any Italian restaurant I have ever been to. They were out of the pork tenderloin on a Friday, which was disappointing. My daughter's entrée must have been waiting on the others because it came out luke warm. The rest of the food was good, but not exceptional.
I don't think I will be back because the service was mediocre and because of the other annoyances.
