Older school grounds not withstanding, I will say this about their teaching methods: EVERY child in my daughter's class scored over 93% on STAR tests for California.
I never found the classes and schedule to be regimented or taught "just to pass the tests". The children are allowed to complete their studies at THEIR speed, yet, with the open classroom settings, the children also help each other after the teacher has finished with the daily lessons. Other things they are also taught is how to prep for tests, keep a daily journal for referencing in their lessons and team work!
I also liked the fact that they have many after school programs right on campus. My daughter took the karate class at the time and achieved a 4th level junior belt. They had gymnastics and golf as well, when she was there about 3 yrs ago.
Great place and passionate teachers!
