This is a SCAM! I called for a tuneup only since my sensors needed to be better aligned and secured. They quoted me $30 or $59 with a year’s warranty. I took the $59 offer and provided my credit card info. Then I get a call from the “technician” who was on their way and wanted me to text him what I needed done. I told him I already gave that info to who I thought was his employer. Since I was at work I was communicating by phone. When he got there he called for instructions again and asked if the motor was ok. I again told him it was a simple tune up of the sensors. He then said it would cost $350! Needless to say I was very upset and told him to leave. I called “Monty’s” to complain and ask for a refund of the “service fee”. He refused and said the “service” was to have a technician come out only. No real service as I thought had been represented. “Monty’s” is a front for Premium Home Services which just farms out to independent technicians who the try to scam you for whatever they can get away with. Premium is only in the biz to generate referral fees.
